Proofreading for

"[Lisa's] mark up was incredibly clear. It was very useful to have suggestions of how to minimise disruptions to the text flow.

I have been impressed with Lisa’s professionalism and reliability. She is a pleasure to work with."

I'm keen that we have a conversation so that I can understand what you're looking for.

That's why I offer a free exploratory call so we can see if we suit each other and what your needs are as you prepare to publish.

Ready for proofreading? Let's talk.
Proofreading
The double-check before publication
In a traditional publishing workflow, proofreading comes after your book has been copyedited and typeset.
For PDFs, I mark up using BSI symbols or Adobe highlight and comment functions. For Word, I use Track Changes.
Close reading every line of your book, I will check spelling, punctuation and grammar.
I will look at consistency with your editorial conventions/your copyeditor's style sheet and double-check other elements of the manuscript, for instance, whether the page numbers are in sequential order.
If you'd prefer more intervention, proof-editing may suit you. I offer a free exploratory call so we can talk about where you are in the publishing process.

I will quote a flat fee – you'll know in advance how much your project will cost.

Please check out the services page for how I'll quote for your proofread.
