Proof-editing For independent authors who'd like a little more intervention before publication I offer a free exploratory call so that I can understand what you’re hoping for from a proof-edit, where you are in the publishing process and so you can ask me questions. This includes everything I offer for proofreading and we can talk about what further intervention you'd prefer. Close reading your book, line-by-line, I’ll check spelling, punctuation, grammar and consistency, for example, hyphenation and capitalisation. I'll build a style sheet throughout the edit. Pricing will vary depending on the level of intervention that you’d prefer.

I will quote a flat fee – you'll know in advance how much your project will cost.
